The WVUSD Child Care and Preschool Programs is happy to announce that Summer Camp will be from June 10, 2024 to August 2, 2024, Monday-Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Summer Camp is divided into two sessions with onsite and offsite activities and events. Enrollment is limited and will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Enrollment is open to any child, providing:

1. Children can independently care for their own toileting needs (Fun Camps).
2. Children 3 years and older must be fully potty trained for enrollment/continued enrollment (Preschool).
3. The child will benefit from the program and the facility is able to meet the individual needs of the child.
4. Children and parents will follow all Program, school, and district policies and procedures.

To enroll, please complete the following steps:

1. Submit an online pre-registration form (one form per child). The form will indicate Waiting List once an enrollment type or session is full. If you would like to add your child to a waiting list, please complete the form. Pre-Registration for Summer Camp 2024
2. If space is available, the Child Care Office will reach out via email with instructions on the next steps of your online registration. The Child Care Office will only contact you if space is available.
3. Complete registration through Eleyo (online portal), provide any necessary documents, and remit payment for the registration fee and tuition, if applicable, within five (5) calendar days. An email confirmation will be sent when your enrollment contract is accepted.

Failure to complete registration and/or remit payment by the deadline will result in the cancellation of your request for an enrollment contract.

Snacks and Lunch

The Program will provide two snacks per day. Breakfast and lunch are not provided. Each child is required to bring lunch unless otherwise noted. Please pack non-perishable items; lunches will not be refrigerated or heated. Children may also bring extra snacks and water bottles.

Field Trips

The Child Care Program maintains a ratio of at least one adult for every 10 children on field trips. Parents cannot accompany and/or act as chaperones on field trips. Permission slips must be completed and received by the Child Care Office by the due date.  A child who does not have a permission slip on file will not be permitted to attend the field trip.

All children must depart from the Child Care Facility and return to the site with the Child Care staff. All children are required to wear the WVUSD Child Care 2024 Summer Program t-shirt. Any child who is not wearing a WVUSD Child Care 2024 Summer Program t-shirt will not be permitted to attend the field trip.

Care will not be available for children who do not attend the field trips. It is the parent/legal guardian’s responsibility to find an alternate form of care due to missed field trips and/or Summer School conflicts. The Child Care Program does NOT offer rate reductions, refunds, or credits for children who do not attend the field trip(s), regardless of the reason. This may include but is not limited to:

• Children who do not turn in their permission slips on time.
• Children who decide not to attend the field trip.
• Children who are not wearing their Child Care Summer Program t-shirt on the day of the field trip.
• Children who are absent or suspended from summer school or Summer Fun Camp.
