Walnut Valley is an incredible place for kids to come to learn we have about 14,000 students that we serve we have 15 wonderful schools to conference High School's nine elementary schools and A3 nationally-recognized middle schools in Walnut Valley students are able to receive a private education experience at a free price and we really pride ourselves we have a championship-level athletic programs a wonderful a cyst on the Arts that starts in kindergarten and goes all the way through high school we have a rigorous focus on academics at prepare kids don't go to college and universities but to be successful at the most he just universities in the world and we have an opportunity for kids to focus on interest such as biomedicine technology engineering challenges for remake NDS project which stands for never been so these projects really test our imagination or a trade tivity and our knowledge for example our challenge right now to make a transportation and language so like the scene stand in our language and the scenes lion I really feel that schools offer a supportive environment to allow student voices to really be heard the staff the teachers The Faculty or some of the most kind people I've met I feel like I build those relationships every day you don't connect with your kids on a human level on a the level they're not going to connect with you on any other level it's you know I saw that you were headed to the basketball game yesterday how did that go what was it like oh you're on the team that's cool what how are you guys doing oh I'll come see the game they don't trust me as a person they're not going to trust me as a teacher I feel like everyone always of course very focused on the academic but I do feel like the whole person approach that is at Walnut Valley is very important because no sense of belonging a lot of parents I know Drive 30 minutes up to an hour to come to our schools because they see the value they see how well our schools are on how safe it is the education-focused forming art all these things are available I appreciate the fact that there's a lot of very invested parents from everywhere around our area and one example is that is their recent support of school facilities Bond project where we've been able to invest a literally hundreds of millions of dollars into creating and maintaining world-class facilities for kids to learn and grow so to be able to participate and go to school in the very nice has facilities in in all of California I think only enhances that educational experience that our kids get to receive and that will stick with our community for years and years and years to come
