hello Walnut Valley families on Bob Taylor superintendent I want to express my sincere gratitude to all of our families for your continued support of our schools and our employees during this most difficult time I also I want to know on behalf of our entire organization that we hope and wish that you all remain healthy and safe without a doubt the coronavirus has had a significant impact on a paralyzed and it has caused the disruption to our traditional model of school however thanks to our wonderful staff teachers and many other people that have been a support system over the last several days organization in our schools have created resources that we help will minimize the learning Gap during the time of school closures our director of Educational Services Dr resmer burn will share view the resources and the opportunities that we have created for each of your children if I can be of any support during this most challenging time please feel free to reach out again we wish you safety and health and thank you for all you've done Tasha Taylor I'm so excited to be able to share with our parents today spider learning enrichment and Resource Network can find it at learn. Wcusd.org this One Stop Shop is an area where parents can be able to go and find academic resources social emotional resources resources as well I want to just remind you that this is an area for students and their parents to be able to access these types of activities they will not be graded they will not be there just that their resources so take it to her parents I just want to reassure you that this is such a difficult time for all of us you're doing a wonderful job with your children are feeling anxious because you may not know how to teach we're not expecting you to teach lessons to your children what we want to do is be able to offer you some resources to help you when you're just making sure that your kids are accessing and some type of instruction out so our learning enrichment Chris net network does just that if you start at the homepage you can see that this is a collaboration be operated with experts we collaborated with Educators and really just excited if you have any suggestions things that you wanted to add we can add a tabs to this while we experienced this time together I want to focus on our academic Resource page first page it's broken down by Elementary School and if you click on to one of our elementary schools you can see that all of our all of our templates for each razel are there already a festival for you also on a macresource page are resources for special education Elementary music elementary and middle schools and high schools will take you directly and Link straight up to the school site themselves also there's so many resources that we have available on my portal and they can access all kinds of materials on my Ford also the directions are there online resources if you scroll over to online resources we have the daily schedules available for you to use we also have portal field trip art classes and activities online also an online resource is the resource has which has tons of resources for you to access and be able to dive deeper into the at home there's also a section for social emotional wellness and coronavirus the fort videos on it that you can share with your kid if they're having a difficult time trying to figure out what this all me something else I really want to showcase are the books that we added on here the books that we add it on here actually for your parents their parenting books that can help you request from Paris asking what are the I can access as a parent on one of our books on here it'll take you straight to Amazon and you can purchase that book right on Amazon there's hotlines on here if any of your children are feeling like they need to speak with somebody please access any of our house you can also reach out to any of our school principals or reach out to anybody at the district office as well received Symposium resources that has all of our parents Symposium resources from this we're all here doing this together and I just really want to thank you guys for taking the time to listen to this video and maneuver through that website
