An Inter-District Transfer Permit allows for students to attend a school district outside of their district of residence. The Walnut Valley Unified School District (WVUSD) reviews both incoming and outgoing Inter-District Transfer Permit applications. Per California Education Code 46600, once an Inter-District Transfer Permit application has been approved by a district, the student does not have to reapply for an Inter-District transfer.
The Inter-District Transfer form attached on this website is for residents of the Walnut Valley Unified School District requesting to attend a public school district other than their home district. For those that are requesting this transfer, please fill out form, sign, and bring it into our district office for review. The applicant must also provide a current driver’s license, California I.D., or other government issued identification demonstrating residency in our district.
