How do I know if I qualify for a position?

Answer:  The minimum qualifications which you must meet in order to qualify for a position can be found on the Job Announcement.  The job description is available at the District Office or online under Job Descriptions.  Since District staff can only screen based on what they are supplied, it is very important that you fill out your application completely.  It is very important that you document your educational background and work history on the application.  You may submit a resume in addition to your application but will be disqualified if your application is incomplete.  Do not attach a resume and state “see resume” in lieu of completing the application in regards to your education and work experience.

How do I submit proof for positions that require a special license or certificate (i.e. Driver License, Diploma, Typing Certificate, First Aid etc.)?

Answer:  If applying online you must attach current documents with your online submission.  If submitting a paper application, you must attach current documents to the application before you turn it in.  Submit all paper applications to the Human Resource Depart at 880 S. Lemon Ave. Walnut, before the closing date/time.

How will you communicate with me?

Answer: If you submitted an application on-line all correspondence will be thru e-mail. If a paper application was submitted all correspondence will be thru standard mail. It is important to keep all information up to date.  If you need to change any information please contact Human Resources at (909) 595-1261.

If I want to apply for more than one job, do I need to complete more than one application?

Answer:  Yes, you must complete and submit a different application for each job you are applying for. We strongly recommend for applicants to complete an online profile on Edjoin.org.  Once the profile is set up you will not need to re-enter your educational background and work experience for future applications. However if you submit a paper application, you will have to redo the entire application.
