WALNUT, CA--The Walnut Valley Unified School District (WVUSD) Board of Trustees elected Dr. Tony Torng as president, Cindy Ruiz as vice president, and Larry Redinger as clerk during the annual reorganization meeting on December 14.
These roles are one-year terms and effective immediately.
Trustee Helen Hall was honored with an engraved clock and photo book for her outstanding leadership as the 2016 Board president.
“I’d like to thank Ms. Hall for her service this year - it’s been a wonderful partnership. And welcome Dr. Torng as our new president,” said Superintendent Dr. Robert Taylor.
The WVUSD Board of Trustees usually meet the first and third Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the District Education Center Board Room located at 880 S. Lemon Avenue in Walnut.
