Walnut, CA - Walnut and Diamond Bar High School have been included in Varsity Spirit’s “Portfolio,” which is a collection of the best published yearbooks printed by Varsity Spirit. High schools across the country are eligible to be included in the annual “Portfolio,” but after careful consideration, only a select few are chosen based on their creativity in design and photography.
This year, just 617 schools were selected to be included in the Portfolio. Among those, only 59 schools were selected to be included in the Anthology section, two being our own WVUSD High Schools, Walnut and Diamond Bar High School. The Anthology section shows carefully selected pages from each yearbook that have the best journalism, design, and storytelling features. Walnut High School also had a few photos chosen as Varsity Spirit’s pick for best photos included. Executive Vice President of Varsity Yearbook Andrew Checketts said, “This collection represents the best of the best, and we are honored to showcase the talent and creativity of these students.”
We are proud of the hard work and dedication by Walnut and Diamond Bar High School’s yearbook staff and student team. Their attention to detail and creativity earned them this honor. The yearbook they created serves as a lasting time capsule for students to cherish, capturing memories of their time as WVUSD students.
