Walnut Valley USD Rolls Out Red Carpet for 2023 Retirees

WALNUT, CA—Walnut Valley USD paid tribute to the outstanding Class of 2023 retirees during a May 3 ceremony.

A total of 45 employees including teachers, classified personnel, and administrators were recognized with personal tributes for outstanding dedication to students and schools.

“Their unwavering commitment and dedication have left an indelible mark on our district,” said Dr. Diane Perez, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources who co-hosted the event with Human Resources Director Dr. Seth Bond.

Retirees walked the red carpet during the outdoor ceremony held at Diamond Bar High to receive gifts including a personalized travel satchel, WVUSD retiree sash, and certificates from local officials.

“Our 2023 retirees have amassed a remarkable 1,103 years of services in Walnut Valley,” Bond said.

“We are incredibly grateful for their remarkable contributions and look forward to celebrating their legacy today.”
