WALNUT, CA— The Walnut Valley USD Board of Trustees has appointed a familiar face, Dr. Courtney Corona, as the new assistant principal at Diamond Bar High School.

Corona brings a total of 15 years of educational experience to her new post, including six years as a Diamond Bar High mathematics teacher.

“I am thrilled to be a Brahma for a third time!” the Diamond Bar High (Class of 2003) alumna said.

“I am looking forward to working alongside my Brahma Family and I am so thankful to my past and present colleagues that have supported me along the way.”

For the past two years, Corona served as dean of student support at Glendora High School.

She holds a doctoral degree in educational leadership, masters, and bachelors degrees from Azusa Pacific University.

Corona succeeds former assistant principal Dr. Elizabeth Chang who was promoted to principal at Castle Rock Elementary School.
