The Walnut Valley Unified School District (WVUSD) is aware of the statements made moments ago by California Governor Gavin Newsom and State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond.  They have directed schools to remain closed for the remainder of the school year.

We will provide an update regarding school closures in WVUSD to families and employees later today through our regular communication channels.  The update will include plans to continue to provide services for students and the expansion of our Distance Learning Program through PHASE 2 (set to begin immediately following our Spring Break).
