WALNUT, CA--The Walnut Valley Unified School District honored to the 2019 retirees during a reception held May 15.

 

A total of 41 employees including administrators, teachers, and classified personnel were recognized for outstanding dedication to students during the ceremony.

 

Each honoree received certificates of recognition, retirement gifts, and heartfelt congratulations from the Board of Trustees and Superintendent Dr. Robert Taylor.

Superintendent Dr. Taylor and Trustees honor Walnut High math teacher Paul McLaughlin, who is retiring with 30 years of service. Paul is also a 2004 California Teacher of the Year.

 

Trustees applaud bus driver Joyce Edwards who is retiring with 28 years of service.
