Thanks to a generous grant from the Los Angeles Arts Ed Collective and matched by WVUSD, a 12- week dance program is being offered to all third grade students in the district. Dance Educators from the former Ahman Dance Company are teaching a world dance curriculum where students learn dances from various cultures while integrating the curriculum with social studies, language arts, geography, math, and science. The 12-week program culminates in a Family Sharing Day, where parents are invited to visit the class and participate with their children.
